The Columbia Basin Water Quality Monitoring Project is a project of 8 member groups, coordinated by Laura Duncan and administered by Mainstreams Environmental Society. The project seeks to gather high quality, time series water quality data. The project offers Canadian Aquatic Biomonitoring training, equipment, data gathering and analysis, and data storage.
This project currently funds eight member groups to monitor water quality using the Canadian Aquatic Biomonitoring Network (CABIN) protocol. Using this protocol allows the groups to contribute to a national database with national-quality data, gathered according to national standards.
