WHEN: May 28, 2018 from 8:30am-5:30pm Pacific
LIVE WEBCAST: The CRT Symposium will be broadcast live on the UVic Two Channel.

As part of Watersheds 2018 and the Canadian Water Resources Association’s (CWRA) 71st National Conference taking place in Victoria, BC, a special event is being held to address the Columbia River Treaty in the context of trans-boundary water governance. We invite you to join us for this full day symposium to hear from many distinguished speakers.

The symposium’s main objectives are to identify key science and technical issues, raise awareness, and explore the future of the Columbia River and the Columbia River Treaty. Canadian, American, and Indigenous experts and professionals, many with decades of experience from working on these important topics, will be sharing their knowledge and expertise.

This event is co-hosted by the CWRA, POLIS Water Sustainability Project, Centre for Global Studies and the University of Victoria.
