Lorna is a Director of the Valhalla Foundation for Ecology (VFE), a Kootenay-based charitable land trust wetlands and other ecologically precious habitats. VFE recently acquired the Snk’mip Marsh Sanctuary lands at the north end of Slocan Lake. Lorna is actively involved in  fundraising and stewardship activities for the VFE.
